"Most people associate spicy cocktails having a tequila base - but using a bourbon whiskey is a fun way to spice things up."


Always use a bourbon that you enjoy drinking when making cocktails. When you add hot a red hot sauce to your bourbon it completely changes the flavor profile - but in amazingly good way!


Recommended Glassware: Shot Glass



The Bone


Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Bourbon

  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

  • 3 dashes Hot red pepper sauce

  • Rim with Chili Lime Infused Salt

  • Garnish: Lime wedge


Directions:

  1. Prepare your glass by rimming your glass. Swirl a lime wedge across the rim of the glass then spin the rim of your glass in a bowl or plate of your Chili Lime Infused Salt.

  2. Combine the bourbon, lime juice, simple syrup and hot sauce in a shaker.

  3. Add ice, then shake it vigorously.

  4. Strain the liquid into the rimmed shot glass.

  5. Garnish with a lime wedge.

  6. Serve it up and enjoy!
