Sweet Tea Sangria



"When you think of the south in summertime, two things come to mind - sweet tea and peaches. This seasonal sangria embodies the spirit of Georgia in the heat."

One of the best things about a sangria is it gets better the longer it sits. This recipie is perfect for a girls afternoon, backyard bbq's and bridal showers. Make this sangria to your liking - and feel free to swap out and use the fruit of your choice.


Recommended glassware: Wine Glass or wide mouth glass.


Peach Mimosa


Ingredients:

  • 1 750-ml. bottle white wine, such as Sauvignon Blanc

  • 4 cups sweet tea

  • 1/4 cup. triple sec

  • 2 cups sliced frozen peaches

  • 2 cups raspberries

  • Peach slices and fresh mint for garnish

  • Rim with Georgia Peach


Directions:


  1. Rim a glass by swirling a slice of peach around the top of your glass, then spin the rim in a bowl or plate of Georgia Peach.

  2. In a pitcher, combine wine, sweet tea, triple sec, frozen peaches and raspberries and stir until combined. Refrigerate until chilled.

  3. Garnish with fresh peach slice and fresh mint.

  4. Serve it up and enjoy it!
