Piña Colada

"The name Piña Colada means “strained pineapple” in Spanish."

The piña colada is a popular classic cocktail invented in Puerto Rico made with pineapple juice, rum, and coconut, served blended or with crushed ice. As the story goes, the Piña Colada debuted in 1954, when it was first mixed by Ramon "Monchito" Marrero, the head barman at the Caribe Hilton in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Served best in a highball or hurricane glass.
