"Light, bubbly and refreshing"
Go with a Brut style (the driest) when picking out your Prosecco for max refreshment. This recipe makes 4 servings.
Best served in a rocks glass or large wine glass.
Ginger Lime Spritz
Ingredients:
1 2-inch piece peeled coarsely chopped fresh ginger
2 ounces fresh lime juice
2 ounces simple syrup
16 ounces dry Prosecco or other sparkling white wine
Club soda
Lime Wheel and mint sprigs (for garnish)
Rim with Derby Mule Lime Infused Sugar Rimmer
Directions:
Rim your glass by swirling a lime wedge around top of your glass then spin the rim of your glass in your Derby Mule Lime Infused Sugar Rimmer.
Muddle ginger in a cocktail shaker.
Add lime juice and simple syrup.
Fill shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously until outside of shaker is frosty, about 30 seconds.
Strain into 4 ice-filled, rimmed rocks glasses or large wine glasses.
Add Prosecco to each and top off with club soda.
Garnish with a lime wheel & fresh mint.
Serve and enjoy!
