Caliente Bloody Maria



"Tired of the basic Bloody Mary? Must try this spicy twist on the classic breakfast cocktail."

Anyone who's a fan of the bloody Mary should try this tequila-based variation of the bloody Maria, which has a kick of horseradish and hot sauce. It's a must for weekend brunches. If you don't want to go through the trouble of making this from scratch, just grab your favorite Bloody Mary Mix to use!


Recommended glassware: Highball or Pint glass.


Classic Bloody Mary


Ingredients:

  • 2½ ounces tequila

  • 1 teaspoon horseradish

  • 4 dashes Tabasco or other hot sauce

  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce

  • Juice of ½ a lime

  • 2 dashes celery salt

  • 4 dashes pepper

  • Tomato juice

  • Garnish with celery stalk, bacon, shrimp or whatever tickles your fancy!

  • Rim with Habanero & Red Pepper Infused Salt


Directions:

  1. Rim your glasses by swirling a lemon wedge around the top of your glass or bottle, then spin the rim in a bowl or plate of Habanero & Red Pepper Infused Salt.

  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, horseradish, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, celery salt, pepper, and tomato juice.

  3. Shake well to mix and chill.

  4. Strain over fresh ice into a rimmed highball glass and garnish with celery stalk and citrus wedge.

  5. Add another dash of black pepper if desired.

  6. Garnish each glass with a celery stalk and/or olives and all the goodies, if desired.

  7. Serve it up and enjoy it!
