French 75

French 75’s are made with a standard pour of ginand topped with Champagne, so it’s a strong drink in a sparkling dress. In fact, it’s named after the French 75-mm field gun, which was commonly used in World War I.
Served best in a champagne flute.
Ingredients

1 ½ ounces gin

¾ ounce fresh lemon juice (about ¾ medium lemon)

¾ ounce simple syrup

2 to 3 ounces chilled Champagne (enough to top the glass)

Lemon peel, for garnish

Rim with Sour Lemon Infused Sugar Rimmer
Directions
Rim your glass by swirling a lemon wedge around top of your glass then spin the rim of your glass in your Sour Lemon Infused Sugar Rimmer.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup.
Shake well.
Strain the liquid into Champagne glasses and top with Champagne.
Garnish with the lemon wheel or lemon twist.
Serve and enjoy!
